I had my second game for the women's league tonight, and it was a blast! I was feeling really tired before the game, but once I got to the field, I magically woke up. I really like a lot of the ladies on my team. There was a new girl tonight named Sarah from Cal, and she was a lot of fun to play with. Shmi and Cree couldn't come tonight, so Castle took over captaining, and she was a lot of fun to play with. The first point, I had three D's! A D is when you manage to force a turnover by handblocking the disc right after it is thrown, intercepting the disc, or hitting it so that the other team can't catch it. Then I had a really nice layout for the disc. I played really well, and Castle gave me some pointers that really helped my cuts improve. I was really happy after the game, and now I can't wait for the next game, and for winter league to start!
