Slippers!

I've been moaning for the past few years that I never could find slippers that I liked. I've been slipping around in some of Tim's oversized slippers for forever, and one day I happened to find a knitting pattern for some felted slippers online. They looked beautiful, so I asked Pam if she'd make them for me if I got the yarn. Pam happily obligued, so now I have a pair of the most gorgeous slippers in the world! She came over today so we could felt them, fit them, and attach the buttons. I made the buttons with some cloth button kits I had with some fabric I really like...and I really like them! They're especially nice because Pam said the pattern was really easy to follow, and not very time consuming. They felted together really nicely. Since they are felted, Pam didn't have to hide the yarn ends like usual which is her least favorite part of knitting projects. We took puffy paint and painted circles on the soles of the slippers, so they aren't very slippery. They're not quite like those grippy socks you can find, but they are close! I love them so much.
